SKINNED ALIVE (Tempe Digital Blu-ray)

Skinned Alive came out in 1990 and was shot on video for a very low budget. It's produced by the same guy who did The Dead Next Door and directed by Jon Killough. He doesn't like the movie much for reasons, but it's not a bad movie The movie is about a gang of hillbillies who are killing people and skinning them alive!! Their van breaks down and they have to stay at a guys place. They start killing right away and this guy next door suspects something going on. There is some pretty cool kills and a penis is seen on screen which might offend.

Acting is pretty bad, but there is heart involved with the acting so the actors are doing there best. The intro is pretty awesome with a really awesome score and some nice editing. Great job! Big shout out to the effects as they are better than a lot of low budget affects.

Bluray Review

Tempe Digital and MakeFlix has put out Skinned Alive on a blu-ray and it's a big big upgrade from the DVD and VHS. The restoration has been done great with a lot of clean up involved with the damage on the skin. A feature goes in to the detail about the damge and how they fixed it. The audio is loud and clear and comes through you're speakers cleanly. Audio is English DTS Master Audio, but you alos have Dolby Digital 5.1 and Thai dubbed 5.1. Specail features are even included that show how much heart and soul went into making this movie!!!
